Gary Widger was a student of the University of New Hampshire’s MA program in Creative Writing, where he had the pleasure of working with McKeel McBride, Charles Simic, Charlotte Bacon, Paula Salvio, and Romana Huk. His work appeared in The Other Side of Sorrow, an anthology of poetry. He enjoyed all facets of literature, especially writing, reading, and discussing poetry. Gary passed away in 2008, at the age of 36.
